Bringing Training Closer to Home: Outdoor First Aid Course – Register Your Interest

Living and working in rural environments comes with unique challenges — especially when it comes to emergency response.

After personally trying (and failing) to find an outdoor first aid course within a 100-mile radius, we realised this was a real gap for people working and volunteering in rural settings. In response, we are exploring the opportunity to host an Outdoor First Aid course at The Countryside Kitchen, delivered by a qualified external training provider.

We are currently gauging interest in this course, with the aim of hosting a small group of up to 8 participants. The training would be ideal for farmers, outdoor educators, forest school leaders, community workers, volunteers and anyone spending time working outdoors where emergency services may not be immediately available.

By hosting the course locally, we hope to make essential training more accessible, affordable and practical for those who need it most. If this is something you’d be interested in attending — or would like to know more — we’d love to hear from you. Your interest will help us confirm viability and move this much-needed training forward. Drop us an email to register your interest: contact@thecountrysidekitchen.co.uk
