For just £1 a week, you can support our work while also being in with the chance of winning a prize of up to £25,000. 🎉

How does Local Lotto work?

Local Lotto is a weekly lottery designed to raise money for local good causes and community organisations.

Tickets cost just £1 per week, with a draw taking place every Saturday. When you purchase your ticket and select The Countryside Kitchen – No Fuss Meals for Busy Parents CIC as the cause you would like to support, 40p from every £1 ticket comes directly to us.

There is a 1 in 50 chance of winning a prize, with prizes ranging all the way up to the £25,000 jackpot.

So, while you could be a winner, your ticket is also helping us raise valuable unrestricted funds to continue our work.

What will your support help us do?

Here at The Countryside Kitchen, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the countryside, understand where their food comes from and develop practical skills around growing, cooking and eating.

Since opening at Orchard Farm, we have welcomed more than 1,000 people through our doors, including schoolchildren, young people with additional needs, vulnerable adults and community groups.

Our workshops are free at the point of access, helping us remove some of the financial barriers that can prevent people from experiencing the countryside.

Visitors might meet our farm animals, discover how food is produced, plant seeds, explore the soil, cook over an open fire, make bread, press apples or simply enjoy spending time outside in a safe and welcoming environment.

Funds raised through Local Lotto can help us continue making those experiences possible.

Small tickets could make a big difference

One £1 ticket might not sound like very much, but regular support soon adds up.

If 50 people played one £1 ticket every week in support of The Countryside Kitchen, the 40p contribution from each ticket would generate £1,040 for our work over a year.

That could make a real contribution towards ingredients, educational resources, growing supplies, equipment and the many other costs involved in providing our workshops.

And, of course, those 50 supporters would each have the excitement of checking their numbers every Saturday too!
